Summary: Responsible for working in partnership with business units to define and implement optimal processes and efficient internal organization. Responsible for gathering and documenting system requirements, developing functions specifications, test plans, and training materials for existing and new system processes. Responsible for managing cross functional projects from inception through launch.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with business teams and executive management to identify and implement organization and system improvements and/or optimizations.
o Evaluate current programs and procedures and make recommendations for business process improvements
o Provide technical expertise upon identifying new systems, partners, enhancements
o Work closely with business sponsors to understand high level objectives and recommend appropriate solutions incorporating both business and technical strategic perspectives
o Serve as IS point of contact with third party vendors
• Manage/perform the following tasks for projects, enhancements, system upgrades, business process improvements, and bug fixes:
o Gathering, definition, and documentation of business/functional requirements
o Development of functional specifications and testing scenarios
o Development and documentation of system workflows and processes
o Support of software development teams for requirements questions
o Functional testing and validation, management of user acceptance testing
o Facilitation of launch in conjunction with the application development and technical directors
o Assist in knowledge transfer to support teams pre launch and support post-launch stabilization
o Development and performance of end user training
o Communication with the various business units and executive management on project objectives, impacts, status, and schedule
o For larger projects, serve as the project manager
• Manage business analysis team
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years experience in business analysis: writing use cases, creating business rules, gathering requirements, writing design specifications, testing
• Experience with ATG Dynamo, Retek, Cybersource, Visual Sciences or other web analytics software, iPhrase, LivePerson, Paymentech, other ecommerce/retail systems
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Must be a team player and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Previous ecommerce experience required, supply chain experience desired
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
