Duties and Responsibilities:
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• General clerical – answer phones, filing.
• Maintain office supplies – track and order as needed.
• Ensure office machine functionality – troubleshoot, place service calls, and order supplies for printers, fax, and copier as needed.
• Prepare mailings – apply labels, operate postage meter, and refill postage as needed.
• Sort and direct incoming mail.
• Respond to information requests via phone, mail, or Internet.
• Word processing and data entry.
• Canvassing and/or phone surveys as needed.
• Perform ridechecks on-board buses for clients in Los Angeles County.
• Contact outside sources to gather information for Associates as necessary.
• Monitor company vehicle usage, tracking and scheduling of maintenance.
• Run errands as needed for copies, mailing, vehicle service, and supply purchase.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school or General Education Diploma.
• Two years of relevant clerical experience.
• Bilingual preferred: English and Spanish
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access.
• Practical knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Proficient with office procedures, correspondence, and timekeeping.
• Ability to use common office equipment such as copier, fax, phone, postage meter.
• Ability to interact with Associates at all levels.
• Must have clear, pleasant phone voice and professional conduct.
• Must have valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Must exercise initiative and sound judgment.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm from legible copy.
• Candidate must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Compensation:
