Duties and Responsibilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills.
General clerical answer phones, filing.
Maintain office supplies track and order as needed.
Ensure office machine functionality troubleshoot, place service calls, and order supplies for printers, fax, and copier as needed.
Prepare mailings apply labels, operate postage meter, and refill postage as needed.
Sort and direct incoming mail.
Respond to information requests via phone, mail, or Internet.
Word processing and data entry.
Canvassing and/or phone surveys as needed.
Perform ridechecks on-board buses for clients in Los Angeles County.
Contact outside sources to gather information for Associates as necessary.
Monitor company vehicle usage, tracking and scheduling of maintenance.
Run errands as needed for copies, mailing, vehicle service, and supply purchase.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school or General Education Diploma.
Two years of relevant clerical experience.
Bilingual preferred: English and Spanish
Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access.
Practical knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Proficient with office procedures, correspondence, and timekeeping.
Ability to use common office equipment such as copier, fax, phone, postage meter.
Ability to interact with Associates at all levels.
Must have clear, pleasant phone voice and professional conduct.
Must have valid California drivers license and reliable transportation to work.
Able to work independently with little supervision.
Must exercise initiative and sound judgment.
Typing speed of 40 wpm from legible copy.
Candidate must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
