Hardware Engineer

This position requires knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, as well as a passion for developing and delivering high quality products.

Responsibilities include:
• Estimate product costs.
• Design Schematics and FPGAs.
• Construct and maintain bill of materials.
• Test and validate designs.
• Interact with senior electrical engineers.
• Create and maintain documentation (test reports, theories of operation, ECOs, etc.)
• Interact with firmware and software engineers.
• Interact with PCB and mechanical engineers.
• Interact with materials procurement, manufacturing and test personnel to ensure products can be and will be manufactured efficiently.

Minimum Requirements:
• BSEE or Equivalent.
• 1+ years of mixed signal circuit design (will consider new-college graduates with some practical experience, internships, etc.)
• Experience with microprocessor and/or DSP system integration.
• Analog design experience.
• Experience in HDL design using Verilog and/or VHDL for FPGAs and CPLDs.
• Schematic-level design of analog and digital circuitry.
• Knowledge of the operation of logic analyzers and oscilloscopes for debugging and analysis.
• Familiarity with C and/or assembly language programming.

Compensation: $60-$75K/yr to start
