Assistant Field Marketing Manager – Event Marketing
National marketing agency has immediate opening for dynamic Assistant Market Manager to assist with management of field & promotional marketing initiatives for a prominent retail client.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist with installation and maintenance of customized field and promotional marketing program for large retail client
- Conduct walk throughs to assure appropriate set up of multi-branded promotional & field marketing activity
- Accountable for storage space and tracking and managing inventory including signage, uniforms and other promotional materials
- Assist with ensuring Brand Ambassadors arrive prepared and in a timely fashion
- Ensure quality execution and retailer satisfaction
- Safely transport promotional materials via rental truck (special license not required, must have excellent driving record)
- Previous event and production experience a must
- Previous retail experience a plus
- Must be outgoing, personable and have excellent communication and people skills
- Assist Market Manager with review and accuracy of post-event reports capturing key goals/metrics specified for each program
- Serve as point person and local contact for the client within a designated territory when necessary
Candidate will have 2-4 years experience in field marketing, account management, and/or special events. Candidate must be agreeable to operating from home-based office. Must be available to work weekends and maintain regular field travel throughout territory. This is an independent contractor position.
